Your Union Negotiating Committee, made up of Safeway employees, met with Safeway Corporate Executives on May 28th and 29th. The employees presented their needs, concerns and changes regarding working conditions going forward and Safeway Corporate presented the working condition changes they want to see in New Mexico.

Welcome to the 2025negotiations website. This site is intended to provide Union members with updates on negotiations, review of documents, events taking place, and additional information for those who desire to learn more. It is intended for you to get the information you want when you want it.
Proposed changes. Negotiations are a two-way street with both the Company and the employees’ seeking changes to the current contract. Both sides will make proposals and then accept, reject or make counter proposals. It is a process that involves looking for ways to give and take, and addressing areas most important.
